This post comes from the summer when I was getting ready for China. Here it is:

I’m less than two weeks from going back to college.

To be exact, I’m studying abroad in Beijing, China. I will take classes at Beijing normal university. I’m so excited! I’ve never been out of the country before. While I’m in China, I hope I get to see sights like the Great Wall.

Getting ready for China has been quite an expensive proposition to say the least. The round trip plane fare was $1300, and the vaccinations must have been at least another $1000. This is not to mention the spending money I need when I get over there. I think it will be worth it though.

At home, I’m packing all the stuff necessary to go. I will keep you updated when I’m over there.
